Something you never get compliments on:
Surprisingly, I never get compliments on my music taste. This has always come to me as a total surprise because I personally think that I have the greatest taste in music, well ever. Let me give you a little taste in a day on the Meggie playlist... there is one condition to me letting you in which is you are certainly not allowed to judge or I will have to go all Liam Neeson on your ass.
Also, someone please explain to me how it could be the slightest bit possible for anyone to not love this man. He's pretty much modern day badass perfection. But I digress.
Just a little disclaimer and now here goes with a top 10 artist on my playlist any day of the week...
Macklemore
Eminem
Lupe Fiasco
All American Rejects
Ingrid Michaelson
Lou Bega
Kellee Maize
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Sara Bareilles
Nicki Minaj
Now, let me clarify, this is not in any particular order, nor is it perfectly representative of my music taste. If you ever took a look at my spotify I have such a clusterfuck of music that you would never put together on a single playlist that it's a little bat shit cray. The point of this story is that I have great taste is music. (initially proven by my hatred of Kreayshawn and V-nasty, I mean seriously who are these bitches and where did they come from and in what world would anyone think that they have anything to say that is worth listening to?!?!?!)
But also, just look at those girls. They look like some real hipster bitches trying to be gangster and whatnot. It's a little bit sad that they're getting record deals and all that jitsu. But again I digress.
That's pretty much my story. Sorry I've slacked terribly on my ability to post consistently so I hope that a serious of adorable animals will make up for my neglect. That begins right now . <3 <3 <3 <3
So maybe I'm only going to tease you with two adorable animals but seriously though. Look at them and tell me they are not the most perfect thing ever and you don't just want to hug them and cuddle them for forever!!!
Love

30 Day Truth Challenge Day 11
Something people seem to compliment you the most on:
This is such a conceited question. I mean seriously why would I ponder this? But really people compliment me for have such a huge, sexy, throbbing, BRAIN!!! what were you thinking?!?!? Creep. But really I'm pretty smart and quick on my feet so I don't really need to know anything about anything to be able to engage an intelligent conversation. I can obviously memorize some key words and be good to go just like Sarah Palin, she so totes my idol for being so smart and great. Lol Ha. But seriously I occassional say some pretty smart and funny things and whenever I talk to new people they're so amazed by my being a debater. ya dig?
But seriously, I'm also pretty much the greatest tetris battle player in the world. If I actually spent more time on facebook or on a tetris website I would have dominated every other person ever, even the weird crazy asians who tripped me up when I first started playing. I send 70-80 lines on a regular basis and get 3 KO's. It's pretty cool and I really love it. I don't usually spend a lot of time playing flash games but when I do, I'm all about the tetris battle and if you got a problem with that I got 2 words for you. "SUCK IT!!!!" Yeah, I did just have some weird random professional wrestling moment. Don't really know where that came from except my lovely middle school days when I totally thought professional wrestling was the coolest thing ever.
That's all.
This was an odd and semi pointless blog post but whatevs.
Later Days.

30 Day Truth Challange: Day 10
Someone you need to let go, or wish you didn’t know:
Someone I need to let go. That's such a great question. Honestly, I probably need to let Trenton go. He's been the worst part of my life for a consistent period of time. When I first met Trenton I fell head over heels for this guy who didn't actually want me for anything more than an occasional, casual, hookup. The worst part is now that he's married and has a child I should be completely over him but I'm not. For a long time I convinced myself that he truly wanted me and if I held on long enough we would leave (his then girlfriend) for me. Then she got pregnant and things got more complicated. Trenton and I stopped talking for almost a year and I thought to myself, "great he's finally out of my life and I can move on." Boy was I wrong, just when I thought I was done with him he starts messaging me and wanted to talk. My first thought is an innocent friendship can be fine, right? However, it immediately turns into after work hookups and me being " the other woman" the girl he cheats on his fiance with. It made me feel terrible emotionally but dear god was he so wonderful in those moments. The more I think about it maybe I'm really head over heels about him but about just how great he is sexually. It's probably fair to say that he's the only man I've ever experienced an orgasm with. After awhile I couldn't take it anymore, I felt bad and I didn't want to continue getting my hopes up about a guy who I had absolutely no chance at a real relationship with, and honestly I don't think I want that relationship with him anyways. That's an advantage of encountering a guy you're extremely attracted to when he's with another woman. If he's willing to cheat on her for a consistent period of time and she has no clue (He and I have had our "encounters" off and on for over 3 years) why would I want to risk him doing the exact same thing to me? Anyways, he started texting again and I don't know how I'm going to handle it this time. I like to think of myself as strong, independent, and unwilling to put up with some guys bullshit but I'm letting some jackass who is married control my emotions and do things that are probably wrong on a moral level. But at the same time I wonder if it really means I'm pathetic for messing around with him. I mean why should I sacrifice my personal pleasure and desires for the feelings of another woman I don't even know? Does that make me a cold hearted bitch? But to the point, Trenton is probably someone that I should let go. right? Thanks,
Meggie

30 Day Truth Challenge: Day 09
Someone you didn’t want to let go, but just drifted:
I don't really know how it happened but one of my best friends during high school drifted out of my life. To be honest a lot of people who I was very close with during my high school years have drifted away. I always told myself that it was just a stupid cliche that wasn't going to happen to me. I was going to remain very close with all of the people who I had been friends with for the past 3-4 years. Well turns out when you move just 20-25 miles away from home those people start to disappear. One of my closest friends was this girl named Evanne, we used spend every day together, going to the park, taking pictures, acting crazy. I'm not really sure how it happened that we stopped being close friends. It was like one day I was coming over to her house and we were talking about life, boys, love, we were hanging out with her mom and day, going to dinner and movies and taking trips to Kansas City just because we can and the next day she doesn't text me back, she breaks plans, I'm not going with her whenever we go to Gage and slowly but surely we don't text at all, we don't hang out, and its almost as if we were never friends only acquaintances. It was one of the saddest moments of my life. When I look back on it I'm still a little bit confused about what happened but I'm over it. For most of my life I had friends who I was close with for about 6 months to a year and then we never talked again so I really wasn't phased when she became just another one of those people. I hate it a lot and wish that we could have been a lot closer but I mean what are you gonna do?
Thanks,
Meggie

30 Day Truth Challenge: Day 8
Someone who made your life hell, or treated you like shit:
There are just so many options for this one. It kind of makes me wonder, does everyone have that person who makes their life feel like total shit. I think there is. Nobody has it perfect right? So that one person for me? I think it was probably this girl I went to middle school and high school with. Her name was Samantha I. I can't spell her last name to save my life. But she was the biggest bitch I've ever met in my entire life. I mean seriously this girl was twisted. She was one of those real tomboy sorts, not because she was a lesbian and wanted that to be her signature or because it was the look when I was in middle school. She did it because she thought that buying mens jeans and wearing oversized t-shirts made her look like a total badass. It was really cliche and a little pathetic but you know what. I can't help but feel bad for her when I look back. She was always very two faced with me, trying to be my friend one day and then talk shit on me the next day. The best, or worst part of our "relationship" was that from 6th grade to my senior year of highschool in the spring of each year she would try and pick a fist fight with me over the dumbest bullshit. It made me so aggravated because I would get stuck in detention or some form of suspension because she was getting in my face. My school had a policy of punishing both parties equally even if I hadn't done anything wrong. I mean, fair enough, I got a bit loud and would yell at her occasionally but nothing serious. Looking back I find it kind of funny that she never actually hit me. I couldn't figure it out. She always used to say the meanest things or spread awful rumors about me. To this day I'm still not entirely sure what I did to make her hate me. It's all in the past though, and now it's time for me to move on with my life.
